I've never seen a pattern like this in a welding... Most handsome! Some day, I'd really like to learn this technique. It will be enough with rose, drill and twist welding for now x3 That's the limit for me right now.. How the flying heck did you do this?! It's like two serpents and a lightning-flame-thingy!! Awesome beyond words!
Thanks again Well, rose and twist is quite difficult so don´t be to hard to yourself! Your concepts, broncecasts and helm´s deep are really nice. The pattern is a type of "firecraker". Not a extreme one but an interesting one
Well the material is not very expensive. I don´t know how much it was exactly but I would say (after 3 years) for the steal, wood and brass.....50€?! May be. The time to do this is the factor that would make a knife/sword expansive in the end..... Thanks for the comment! And Merry Christmas!
Well, pattern weldet : [link] I used two different toolsteel for the pattern. This knife is my first try in using the spezial technic i only know as "firecracker" (its how the steel should be forged to get a special type of pattern). Thanks for your interest.
Well, some would call this a "fighter"-knifetype. The Rambo knife(First Blood) is more like a Bowie i think. But the saw on the back of the knife looks really a bit like the one in ´Rambo´. Thanks for the comment!
